Hardwood Floor Refinishing
Sand, stain and finish on existing hardwood when the boards still have life in them.
When the boards still have life
Hardwood refinishing only works when there is enough wood left under the old finish. We check that before we commit to a sand-and-stain schedule. Shore houses often have floors that have already been sanded once or twice; one more pass can be fine or it can be the one that opens the tongue. Stain samples are left on site so the colour decision is made on your light, not under a shop lamp. Rooms are cleared, dust is contained, and soft soles stay off until the film has cured enough.
